Hyperbots Raises $2M Seed Funding to Scale Agentic AI in Finance Operations

Hyperbots Inc., an agentic AI platform purpose-built for finance and accounting, today announced the close of a $2 million seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from Sunicon Ventures and Athera Venture Partners.

The capital will be deployed to scale Hyperbots' go-to-market strategy in the U.S. and accelerate the development of proprietary generative AI models trained specifically on finance and accounting data. Founded in 2023 by Rajeev Pathak, Niyati Chhaya, and Ram Jayaraman, Hyperbots has spent its first year working closely with over 25 CFOs to build AI co-pilots that bring genuine human-like intelligence to the most manual, repetitive, and high-stakes tasks in the finance office, from invoice processing and accounts payable to expense management and financial reporting.

The platform targets U.S. mid-market enterprises with revenues between $50 million and $1 billion, a segment that remains heavily dependent on manual processes, spreadsheets, and fragmented tooling. Hyperbots' AI co-pilots embed directly into existing ERP, CRM, and finance systems, automating workflows across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and expense management, reducing human involvement by up to 80%.
