Hyperbots Closes $6.5M Series A

Hyperbots Inc., the agentic AI platform purpose-built for finance and accounting, today announced the close of a $6.5 million Series A round co-led by Arkam Ventures and Athera Venture Partners. The round also welcomed new investor JSW Ventures alongside existing backers Kalaari Capital, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company.

Mid-market enterprises today operate finance functions that are labor-intensive, error-prone, and heavily dependent on institutional knowledge locked inside spreadsheets and email chains.

Hyperbots was founded in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman, and Rajeev Pathak to fundamentally change that equation. The platform deploys specialized AI agents that autonomously navigate the full spectrum of finance workflows, from procure-to-pay and order-to-cash which includes expense management, accruals, GL coding, tax validation, and financial reporting, integrating directly into the ERP systems finance teams already use.

The fresh capital will accelerate U.S. go-to-market efforts, deepen R&D across Hyperbots' growing suite of AI co-pilots, and fund the development of HyperLM, set to be the industry's first large language model trained exclusively on finance and accounting data. The company plans to onboard 100+ clients this fiscal year, building on an existing customer base spanning healthcare, media, manufacturing, robotics, retail, pharma, and real estate.
